Sehr gut ausgestattete und schön gemachte Unterkunft. Modernes und komfortables Bad, riesiges Zimmer.

Nächstes Mal würde ich ein Zimmer im Haupthaus buchen, da man im Nebenhaus kaum Aussicht hat. Sonst alles tiptop.

Good location and easy waterfront walk into town. Spacious parking, mini fridge in room, hot towel rack, fresh fruit at continental breakfast.

I paid £356 for 2 nights of the ‘standard king size’ room in an annexe of 3 rooms, A, B & C at back of house, at rear of carpark which was no better than a budget motel or holiday camp building for kids. Exorbitant. I booked over 6 months ago with non refundable full payment via booking.com. Unfortunately Obangames were on the day I arrived hence scarcity and holiday high prices. I did not realize I would not be in the ‘gracious period guesthouse’. Instead my bedroom walls were thin, not soundproofed and one needs earplugs to not overhear conversation, bathroom use etc of neighbours. Neighbours footsteps also vibrate the whole room. Therefore two nights of interrupted sleep. The ‘standard king size room’ is utilitarian, stark and lacks any warmth or ambience. The green blind on door gave a bilious glow to the morning. The continental breakfast is an optional, self serve for one hour only, 7.30-8.30 in yet another modern annexe, again in holiday camp style. My booking. com did state a separate entrance for my ‘standard king size room’ but little else. I note the Witchwood site now explains the annexe more fully. Hospitality and tourism is a tough business, but fleecing the guest is not professional. I do not recommend the ‘standard king size’ room. Look elsewhere.
