Le Nyande Raja Ampat est de loin le meilleur établissement où nous avons séjourné, le rapport qualité prix est super, les services sont ceux d'un système hôtelier avec nettoyage complet du resort au quotidien, magnifique restaurant, cuisine délicieuse, les bungalows et les salles de bain sont superbes et le meilleur pour la fin : tout le personnel, le propriétaire, l'instructeur de plongée, les accompagnateurs en snorkeling sont exceptionnels ! Un immense merci, nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce lieu fabuleux 😍

RAS, allez un petit truc, la cuisine était tellement délicieuse qu'on aurait adoré avoir un peu plus de quantité sur les fruits coupés et au petit déjeuner où nous faisions le calcul du nombre de personnes pour bien partager avec une petite frustration de ne pas en avoir plus 😉

Relax, explore .. a truly wonderful base to stay whilst enjoying this gorgeous part of the world . Happy friendly staff, delicious meals and clean amenities. Andy and his team always willing to assist/guide in taking you to places to snorkel/dive . We loved Nyande, our favourite accommodation.

We stayed at Nyande in January/February 2025 and want to highlight that not everything about our stay was negative. A very positive point was dive instructor Freddy. He was extremely professional, friendly and highly competent. The diving trips with him were truly excellent and a highlight of our stay – 10/10. Thank you, Freddy, for making the diving experience so memorable.

We thought carefully about whether to write this review, but we feel it is important to share our honest experience and provide constructive feedback. Before arriving, we contacted Esny via WhatsApp to arrange diving trips and provided all requested information (passports, Marine Fee Card, etc.). When we asked about dive prices, since they were not clearly listed on the website, the replies already came across as quite rude. Prices should be communicated much more transparently and be easier to find online. Upon arrival, none of our prior arrangements were remembered and nothing had been reserved. We were only lucky that two spots were still available. Throughout our stay, we felt unwelcome. While Esny appeared warm and friendly toward other guests, her behavior toward us (we were the youngest guests) was noticeably different. Greetings were often ignored or met with dismissive reactions. Food options were limited, with no possibility to order fresh juices, coconut, or healthier or vegetarian extras. Offering additional options, even as paid add-ons, would significantly improve the experience. The room (standard beach room) was disappointing. Privacy was very limited, and noise from neighboring rooms was clearly audible. The room also felt outdated. The overwater bungalows seemed to offer a higher standard, so improvements to the standard rooms would be beneficial. There were also very limited areas to relax. Aside from a single hammock in the room, the only alternative was the restaurant area, which was not always a comfortable space due to the atmosphere. Overall, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome during our stay. If there had been any issue on our side, it could have been communicated clearly and respectfully. Spending several days in an environment where we felt like we were disturbing the hosts negatively impacted our experience. It is unfortunate that this shaped our overall experience in Raja Ampat.

We stayed two nights in Nyande and just loved it! The service is good, the room was clean and we had such a beautiful view.. Every room has their own private toilet & shower (with hot & cold water) a few meters away from the room. Also this was super clean and looked nice. There are small showers to clean your feet next to the room, the restaurant and the bathroom which felt comfortable. They have three sweet dogs and also five puppy’s to cuddle with. There is good starlink wifi and also in the room there is electricity. The restaurant is build amazing! The food was good; vegetables, fish, chicken, fruits, everyday something different. Also the housereef is beautiful! Just around the jetty you can see so much life. They have their own dive center and good boats. To be in bed with the sounds of water under me and the jungle sounds behind me was so special. Andy, the owner, is very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Thank you for the amazing time we’ll never forget!

La beauté du lieu, entre jungle et mer, la nourriture copieuse et excellente, la propreté des sanitaires. Les bungalows étaient beaux, bien pensés Les 2 bungalows au milieu du ponton sont exceptionnels et, si vous avez les moyens et avez réservé très tôt, la différence est énorme Enfin les fonds au bout de la jetée sont sublimes, coraux, tortues, requins…

La proximité entre notre bungalow et le centre de plongée, ce qui nous réveillait à 6h30 tous les matins, sans compter le compresseur qui tourne 2 à 4 heures par jour, alors que nous avions choisi Nyande pour se reposer après un trip d’un mois. Un petit manque d’ambiance (une petite musique chill serait la bienvenue) qui correspond aussi à la demande de la clientèle Mais Andy a pour projet la construction d’un bar …

Overall highly rated property, but a disappointing experience for us. The waterfront bungalow offers very limited views. The “Sunrise” bungalow also lacks privacy. It is located about 50 meters from the toilets; at night, between the unlit jetty and the stones in the bathroom area, it requires some motivation to get there. Overall, the place feels quite enclosed. We stayed in other, more basic accommodations in the region that were sometimes less comfortable but offered a far more authentic and immersive experience.
