Nyande Raja Ampat

The room is clean and has everything the guest needed, in the best effort they can provided in this environment. The coral reefs in front of the resort are fantastic. Andy and Esni are the best host.

The breakfast was same everyday. We hang our wet cloths to dry them but it never. The weather is hot and humid. The fan above the bed doesn’t help much because it is tiny and cannot swing. So that’s only one person can use it at a time.

Nyande is a very well thought out and operated accommodation. The food is excellent, everyone can feel as safe as possible during the organized tours. They pay attention to individual needs, and if possible, they fulfill them. I can only recommend it. The accommodation has many small beach areas, which is a rarity here.

The noise from athe dive shop is sometimes annoying, but you can get used to it.

El ambiente que se respira, su arrecife de coral 🪸, su cocina y la calidez de su personal. Pasamos 9 días con ellos en las cabañas del mar, y no nos cansamos en ningún momento de nada. En realidad todas las habitaciones están muy bien. Buceamos todos los días con ellos y muy muy bien. Se desviven por los huéspedes.

Si te alojas en las cabañas del mar (que son muy chulas) el baño queda bastante lejillos.

Home reef is super beautiful, swim in it straight from your room. They did their best to cook without nuts/peanuts.

At breakfast, there was dog hair all over the floor. At night, you could hear and see the rats running around in your room. The food was not as good as at the other homestay.

Per capire questo hotel e i suoi prezzi bisogna alloggiare anche in home stay basiche... Il prezzo relativamente alto che si paga, non è tanto per avere un bel letto e i prodotti da bagno, significa piuttosto avere elettricità 24 ore su 24, wifi ultra potente, personale qualificato che parla inglese, attrezzature da mare idonee, guide in barca che ti seguono in acqua pronte ad aiutarti per qualsiasi problema. Significa docce calde, bagni privati e qualora condivisi, condivisi fra due camere al massimo, pulitissimi e nuovi. Cibo di qualità e sempre differente e una meticolosa pianificazione delle attività per il giorno seguente. Non sei mai lasciato solo e se le condizioni climatiche la mattina non consentono tour, il pomeriggio ci sarà sempre qualcuno che ti proporrà qualcosa non appena esce il sole! Io inoltre per ragioni di disponibilità, ho dormito in tutte le tipologie di camera, dalla più lussuosa alla più semplice, ma non ho mai percepito la differenza, sono tutte spaziose e comode! Non ci sono prese classiche nelle stanze, ma solo USB di tipo A, quindi provvedete a portarle con voi! Dal jetty dell'hotel inoltre si può fare veramente un bellissimo snorkeling

We stayed at Nyande for 12 nights and we are so glad that we had a long stay.  Most people do 2 or 3 nights and move on. Nyande arranged our  taxi from Sorong airport to the Dock and VIP ferry tickets too for a small fee. The pick up at Waisai was seemless after buying the Raja Ampat park permit. We were met by lovely Esni on the Jetty when we arrived.   We had one of the  land bungalows with private bathroom facilities.   It was all spotless.   24 hour electricity and WiFi is a big bonus at this property. The room was small but fine if you keep it tidy. The fan made little impression really,  but we still slept well in the large comfy bed.    The foot rinse showers everywhere are a nice touch and help to keep the place clean.   No shoes or flip flops required at Nyande. The dining room and food are also great!   Some people should remind themselves that it isn't an "all you can eat buffet" the food is for all guests.   But,  we didn't go hungry and there was always fruit available through the day. Water,  tea and coffee too.   You can buy beer for 100k and soft drinks for 20k.  The kitchen staff made me amazing ginger tea to clear up my head cold in just 1 day.   Terima kasih.....I need the recipe 😋 The house reef was why we chose Nyande.  It is outstanding.   The diversity of healthy corals and the reef fish species was excellent.   The abundance of life was spectacular and kept us snorkelling for about 5 hours each day!    You need to read the often strong currents.    As well as so many new species of reef fish for us,  we saw wobbegong shark and crocodile fish, and the usuals of black tips, eagle rays and lots of turtle. The dogs at nyande are so lovely,  and they adopted us as part of their pack which made the stay very homely. We walked to the village, Kampung, not far away which is really pretty.   We also used the kayak one day to return there for another look around.  The people there were very nice with us.

Betydelig bedre standard enn ved typiske «home stays» i området. Variert og god mat, bra snorkling på steder, hyggelig personal og rent.

To av turene vi hadde med dem ble ikke som avtalt/forespeilet og vi betalte mer enn vi skulle. Vi hadde også et problem på rommet, som først etter hvert ble tatt tak i.

Nyande Raja Ampat hat ein sehr schönes Hausriff, in dem wir direkt von unseren Wasserbungalows losschnorcheln konnten. Wunderbar! Die Übernachtung mit weit geöffneten Türen und der weiten Sicht über das Wasser ist ein Traum! Esni und die anderen Mitarbeiter*innen sind supernett und alles ist bestens organisiert, von den Transfers über die schönen Ausflüge bis zu den einfachen, aber gut schmeckenden Mahlzeiten und der Fruchtauswahl. Wenn denn erst einmal die lange und anstrengende Anfahrtszeit in diese abgelegene Gegend vollbracht ist, steht einer sehr schönen Auszeit nichts mehr im Wege.
