Kamar Suci House

The host was really amazing and very helpful. Location is great: just in the center of Ubud but you’re still in an oasis inside the property and its gardens. There’s a small terrace w a small coffee table where you can find cups and tea, feels very welcoming and lovely. Host helped me arrange a driver from the airport to the property as well.

A few bugs (though you find them easily in accommodations in Bali, at least in my experience). The main door does lock but there is a gap left in between the two doors when fully closed. Haven’t had any issue with that but the gap’s big enough for someone to peak through it🙈 door locks with a padlock, but didn’t mind that at all.

Kamar suci was a great guest stay that I would recommend to most backpackers visiting Ubud. The stay is located within walking distance to the town center and shops/restaurants or bars are a short walk away. The staff was incredibly accommodating in helping us with anything we needed. Well worth the stay!

The room was a little dirty- there were quite a few bugs all over the room (however, Ubud is in the Jungle so this may be normal)! The bathroom could use a little bit more cleaning but for the price it was okay!

Lovely place, perfect location, staff were very nice

A great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and cheap, in a great location. Very close to everything, but just outside of the chaos of the centre. Very quiet. Plus friendly staff, our own private kitchen, and a warm shower were all a bonus.

The only negative was the very very slow Wi-Fi.

Geeat location - I walked most of the time to all the popylar places. quiet in the night time. room had a seperate kitchen, was very convenient.

Very basic and bathroom could use a scrub. Theere was a soap dispenser with a mimimum dishwasher soap in it and no daily cleaning (make up bed and replace paper/bin) I would recommend lowering the price a bit

The staff were extremely helpful and so lovely. The room was very clean
