Mukda Guesthouse

The room was quite spacious and there was hot water in the shower. The air con was working pretty well and overall the stay was comfortable.

We slept there like a stones ! It’s a nice place close to 7-11, night market, 20min walk from bus station. They have organised tuk tuk from the guesthouse to Koh Chang ferry for 80baht per person.

Beds we're hard

Location. Housekeeper brought me kettle when I asked for it.

Noisy next two rooms on my left and right . Like three rooms next to each other with thin walls between . One room in particular occupied by several young Thais was so loud and noisy. Sounded like they were fighting and arguing so loud I wasn't able to sleep. I contacted the manager explained my ordeal and requested to change my room to one of the many vacant ones across the walk way. She said can not. Because they had to clean my room!. She asked for more money to change my room. I founded unusual! Guest has to pay more to move to a quieter room! Customer's satisfaction didn't matter. She cared more about having to clean my room twice more than my comfort so I'll be able to sleep. I contacted another person whose number was in the booking. Com and seemed to be the owner. Someone named Mukda. He didn't understand English. I had my thai girlfriend call him , he didn't want to help. In the end I had to knock at the noisy room to ask them to be quiet.Manager misinformed me about the cost of taxi from the guest house to the Pier. I had to pay 300 B and not 100 B. that I was informed.The reason: Low season! Staying in guest house was my first experience and probably will be my last! I'm a quiet and considerate person and it's not for people like me.

Spacious rooms, close to night market. The owner was very helpful and arranged our taxi and boat tickets.

We wish it was possible to buy breakfast.
