I stayed at Julie’s House in Ubud, Bali. The outside area and pool were quite nice, and the facilities were decent overall. I paid around $40 AUD a night (about 400,000 IDR). The room was okay, but housekeeping could be improved. The bathroom had a bit of a smell, some mould around the shower, and the hot water only lasted a minute or two. The sheets smelled clean but had visible stains, and the bath towels were old and yellowed. The sliding door had large gaps, though mosquitoes weren’t too bad. They provide refillable glass bottles, which is great for the environment, but I wasn’t too confident about the cleanliness of the filtered water system. There are open sewers nearby, so I skipped the water and just bought some at the mart down the road. The view from the room was lovely — rice fields all around. There’s also a small sky deck with plants, but it felt a bit run down and neglected. A little maintenance around the rooms and outside areas would make a big difference. Overall, it’s a fairly quiet and convenient location, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. With some attention to cleanliness, towels, hot water, and general upkeep, it would be worth the rate they’re asking.

Well situated and had all the amenities needed. Breakfast was delightful, although limited on choice.

The bathroom and towels could have been cleaner, felt like everything needed a good bleach and TLC.

Airconditioner. Pool. Views. Quiet but central. Staff were very friendly.

Bathroom dirty and old. No hand towels.

La proximité des lieux à visiter mais tout en étant dans la rue adjacente et donc ne pas avoir le bruit des Klaxons et voitures Leur gentillesse et leur amabilité. Réserve sans soucis les transports notamment aéroport. Bon petit dej !

Demandez une chambre plutôt à l’étage pour éviter d’être directement au contact de la piscine.
