Safe Haven - Luxury Family Accommodation

Fabulous location looking out onto Carlingford Lough. Spacious parking. Large clean rooms with en-suite facilities. Continental breakfast and plenty to choose from. Is quite rural so taxi needed to get to an excellent pub a few miles away. Fitzpatrick’s Bar & Restaurant.

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I loved the quiet location. Presentation was perfect. My wife worked in the hospitality industry and was very impressed.

The backsplash in the main bathroom behind the spa bath could do with some work. The water pump was mildly disruptive at night.

The house was clean and well presented with good facilities for our use. The bedroom was large, comfortable and with good views. A fruit and yogurt breakfast was provided and was perfect for our needs. Mark the host was really helpful with recommendations on places to visit in the area and different restaurants available. Would certainly stay again.

Such a lovely and beautiful place to stay, quiet and cosy. Great views from my window. The host Mark was great, messaging information with directions and suggestions of places to eat etc before my arrival and keeping me up to date. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast had a good selection and kept me going as I was planning on lots of walking that day! Had a great stay, Would recommend and come happily return 🙂

The house is in a lovely countryside location, 20 minutes from Carlingford. It had beautiful views of the sea from the front and mountains at the back. The host was very helpful with messages and advice on places to eat. The continental breakfast was substantial. The big bath in the bathroom was a huge plus with bath bombs to use too.

We stayed in Mountain view room, the two single mattresses on the bed pushed together were a bit uncomfortable. The towels need updating. Other than that it was lovely, we would definitely go back!
