Aloha Guest House Nias

The family who owns the property lives next door and is very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is all you need. It's basic but clean. The towels and sheets smelt wonderfully fresh and clean. The mattresses are soft and in good condition. The toilet and shower work well and there is plenty of water. There is aircon, a fan, mosquito netting on the ventilation vents and a desk on the room. Upstairs there is a communal area with a good view of Sorake where you can hang wet clothes, hang out with friends and there is a hammock. There is mineral water provided free of charge. The accommodation is 15min walk to Sorake beach (to the left) and 15min walk to a natural pool on the coral reef (to the right.) Bring your own soap and shampoo, although toilet paper is provided. We highly recommend this basic and clean accommodation.

The location was great and the hosts were responsive. They arranged a car and a driver for me to travel around the island.

Initially I didn’t have a sink. So I asked for a room with a sink and I was moved into one. The a/c only worked for 2 nights and there was no fan.

Staff were very helpful and the food was good. Air con was always cold and the location is perfect for surfing and beach activities.

Bunga was a happy and attentive host. The food was excellent and the Bitang was cold.

We stayed one night at the Aloha guest house. We had a nice room with a good view on the waves at the surf spot just in front of the door step. Bunga was really nice and helpful and gave us a good price to rent surfboards. The room is equipped with an AC and a basic bathroom. From the balcony just in front of the door you can sit an watch the waves or enjoy the sunset.

Staying at Aloha is very nice. The rooms are clean and the view is great. Besides great food, you can easily hire a scooter and surfboards for a very good price. Everything is in walking distance.

This Guesthouse is amazing. We stayed here more than a week in a good room with AC. Nice views from the balcony in the guesthouse. They have many boards you can rent or buy and they offer surflessons.
