Shirley and her partner really made a difference as hosts. I will be eternally grateful for their help. Sunrise and breakfast with views of the desert, the dead sea and Jordan in the background is an experience I will never forget. Thank you so much for everything, I would love to come back soon.

[Travellers only tip] If you're travelling in a cooler, less touristy season like me, make sure you know how you're going to get to Arad because it's a bit out of the way compared to Jerusalem, Tel Aviv or Haifa. On the other hand, if you ever hear military aircraft while you are there, don't panic, there is a pilot training camp nearby. It was something that shocked me the first time but it's not something to be disturbed or worried about.

Amazing host, cozy room and great view from backyard!

We loved it there! It's a beautiful place and has everything you need. We stayed in the tent in december but they have a heater so it's warm enough.

Just know that they have cats that also walk through the tent. Two of us are allergic and that was a bit annoying for them.

Owners are really helpful. I had some issue regarding overcharge payment at the gas station before coming and the owner called customer service of the company. I appreciate that.
