Staff was nice and dedicated, the place was in good general condition and were very helpful organising safari at good price and taxis. They were kind to allow us late check out, due to low season hostel was empty. Air con was working well

General cleaning was not very good. Room was delivered without bedsheets, only blanket. When delivered bed sheets, were dirty with oil drops. WiFi connection was very bad in our room, although asked for help, no improvement was done. We got food poisoning from dinner/breakfast, I believe due to low season food supplies were not in best condition. Location is not the best, far away from main road and town. You will need to call tuk tuk for every move.

The host was really helpful, sorting Tuk tuks for us and ensuring we had a great time! The room was good, with a great garden and although the water pressure could be better, everything else great. Breakfast was also fab and Zomato is available so makes up for the location.

Stayed for 2 nights which was enough considering the safari is relatively short (3.5 hours). The hotel is in a quiet location so we had some good rest and though the chef was off sick, the hotel owner made us breakfast himself which was very nice of him. He recommended a resort restaurant across the road which was great for other meals, as other restaurants are 10-15+ minutes away. The hotel arranged a tuk tuk to pick us up from the station and were helpful arranging the safari for us. Note: if you are a foreign tourist you can organise safari last minute with cash, or in advance if you can find someone local to pay them via UPI. The blankets on the bed did not seem fresh and could use a clean, but otherwise the room was well maintained. The shower pressure was also very low.

Behaviour of the staff

Lack of amenities. No basic toiletries. Lack of maintenance - disfunctional jet, exhaust and flush.

I can only say positive things about our stay. It’s a quiet location which will guarantee you a good night sleep and easily reached by tuktuk. My gratitude goes towards the owner who arranged our stay and safaris perfectly, but also took great care of us while we were struggling with food poisoning. Many, many thanks! Will definitely come back if I ever visit Ranthambore again.
