Douskos Guesthouse

Great position and comfortable accommodation. Very helpful and pleasant staff. The cooked breakfast was included and was delicious.

Lots of stairs but that is common for accommodation in Hydra.

The guesthouse is located close to the port. The room is very spacious, the bed large and comfortable.

The hotel seem to have saved every penny there was to save. The accommodation is very basic, for the price of 4-star hotel near Acropolis. Bathroom is small, very worn out, and not cleaned very well, particular upon arrival - hairs on the floor were disgusting. No safety box, coffee machine is present but with wrong type of capsules. Church bells next door ring often and in odd hours.

We were upgraded to another room since the one we were assigned didn't have internet. Anastasia was a kind and helpful host. Both rooms were nice in this very charming little hotel. The bed and linens were very comfortable. As other guests have mentioned, there are stairs, but this is, I will say, unavoidable in these charming old hotels. Breakfast was wonderful with a great selection and served with beautiful smiles. The long stairs to get to the rooftop rewarded us with incredible views of beautiful Hydra.
