Palolem Cottages

It's a good property in the main market area. The staff is very helpful. Thanks to them my parent's had a great time in Goa.

1 min walking distance to the beach over the road near some houses, a restaurant. Nice mattress, big double comfy bed. The owner was nice enough to wait for me next day to exchange some money to pay him cash ( all of them in India + taxi want cash ) for all 5 - 6 days

I arrived late around 4 p.m. I didn't have toilet paper, I had to ask the next day. The room was never broomed / mopped in 5 - 6 days stay. I could've asked for but I'm the customer. If you go to sleep before 11 it's noisy but it didn't affect me. Locals will talk outside the hut, scream, etc. in the morning but that's India. Leaving luggage after check-out didn't feel safe but it is what it is. I don't recommend Palolem beach as a destination

The location was great, just 100m or so from the sea. The caretaker was kind to let our bags be kept in the store room even after checkout, till our departure from hotel.

There was no electricity backup, almost 2hrs the electricity was off only for our room. The size of the room was not so big as seen in the photos, its almost 10*10 feet room. Though i mentioned 3 people to stay, but the caretaker did not provide any extra mattresses.
