Pondok Mundeh Ubud

Great homestay near the main area but down a quiet street. Very peaceful

I loved it the staff was also helpful

The room was large the air conditioning worked well and the place was incredibly quiet for a very noisy Ubud. The interior garden is pleasant and we enjoyed sitting out each morning and afternoon.

There wasn't much to complain about here although some people might think the bathroom could use a deep cleaning. While it's not something that can be helped the room had no exterior window and in spite of the very large glass doors to the interior garden, we did miss the ability to see outside. .

Friendly hosts, strong wifi and hot shower, spacious, clean room.

Place is a bit dark and cell coverage inside the room can be poor.

location was central and close to shops and restaurants.

The smell of mold and moist in the room was quite strong for the entire duration of our stay unfortunately. The hot water takes a while to get hot in the shower, I could say it takes 10 min! So you don't have a luxury of immediate hot water when you want to take a shower.

Very pleasant stay and quiet. The hosts most helpful and Fifi the dog, who might have come straight out of '1001 Dalmatians', very friendly. Only a short walk to the main street, with extensive choice of eateries and coffee shops.

The drain pipe from the sink is partially blocked, which I meant to mention on my departure but didn't have opportunity to do so. Hopefully this note will receive attention.

Everything was as in the pictures. Both ac and wifi worked well. Bed was comfy. Lots of space. No complaints!

Neighbours across the street were a bit noisy during the daytime.

The rooms are spacious. The complimentary tea coffee in the morning was a sweet gesture. Although it is a cheap stay, the place is aesthetically pleasing. Air con works fine. Hot water shower works fine

The rooms have excess moisture and thus smells moldy. There are no windows either. If you are someone with respiratory issues, allergies to molds or fungi then this maybe an issue for you. I didn’t have issues sleeping here but my girlfriend woke up with sore throat on both mornings due to the mold. But then again, we are talking about Ubud in monsoon.
