Balakosa Gili Meno Bungalow

Cute bungalow, a toothbrush set was left for us in the sink, which was nice. The lady's communication there was sweet, she gave us water as a welcome drink

First of all, the air conditioner doesn’t work well enough, it cools late, but it is still good. At first glance, the room seemed to have been cleaned, but there were many dense cobwebs, especially since some places in the bathroom were never cleaned, with spiders and cockroaches in them. A toothbrush set was left for us in the sink, which was nice, but there was no water flowing from the sink. Unfortunately, it was an uncomfortable experience

Nice quiet location away from the busier parts of Meno. Rooms are individual buildings that are clean & comfortable, with an outdoor balcony (& drying rack) overlooking the small garden. Great location - less than a minute to walk to a quiet bit of natural beach with good snorkelling, & several well-priced restaurants (25k-50k main dish). Accommodation sells bottled water for a fair price too. NB shower water is saltwater on Gili Meno. This is not a problem with the accommodation.

The place is located in a calmer part of the island, accessible by foot from the harbour. Within 5min walking you're at the beach where you can watch both the sunrise and the sunset. The wooden bungalow is basic but cute, the room consists of a comfortable bed and some shelves to store your things. The bathroom is ok, water pressure is fine (remember that in this island water in the shower is salty and hot water isn't always accessible)

Even though it was clean I did find a cockroach in the evening. I guess it's inevitable for them to come from outside through the cracks in the wooden wall...

Close to the beach, good air con, there was all we needed. Very good Warung Akisha almost next door.

Some small things needs fixing, door, floor etc. but basically fine.

Nice staff, cosy basic room, good WiFi , staff helped with everything we needed. One of my fav cafes around the corner, lovely part of the island. Overall I’m happy with it.

Breakfast isn’t included but we knew that when we booked :) all good in terms of value for money honestly..

Super sweet little bungalows very close to the beach. Very nice staff, family run business and everybody we met where very sweet and lovely. AC working well! Clean. Has wifi. A very typical bungalow for this price range, which we love.

Nothing, it was all we expected.

Cockroaches in the room. We've been there for 3 nights and the room wasn't cleaned even once. The owner gave us a broom and finished with her cleaning duties. When we arrived, the room was dark, smelly, hot, and a death coackroach on the floor, so it wasn't cleaned before our arrival. On the last day we were packing, we found one more (alive) in our luggage. We went to another place on the beach, 100 m away, for the same price and sea view.
