Santen Beach Bungalows

Beautiful and relaxing

Au bord de l’eau. Littéralement pieds dans l’eau. Chambre ok. Personnel absolument charmant. À côté d’un centre de protection des tortues. On dort avec le bruit des vagues.

La salle de bain très basique. Les derniers mètres avant d’arriver aux bungalows sont un peu chaotiques mais on oublie vite.

Staff were amazing! So accomodating and very welcoming!

Was a little bit harder to get to, however you’re right on the beach!

The best part was definitely the staff! They were extremely nice 🫶 The bungalows were okay, accurate to the pictures.

The beach view was unfortunately not as beautiful as it was captured in the photos.

Lovely huts at the beach. Good facilities; very nice staff. Breakfast was a bit basic, but did the job. We asked for a very early breakfast as we had a snorkelling trip booked in the morning, and they were very accommodating and helpful, bringing food right on time. The room and bathroom were very clean. You can book massage and/or facial with reception - if you like deep tissue massage we highly recommend the Thai one. The place is very close to the ferry harbour, but a bit tricky to get to. If you have suitcases, don't take the path from the ferry which takes you along the beach. Walk out to the main road instead (called Jl. Raya Toya Pakeh - Ped), walk for about 10mins and when you reach Deddari Buddha Bowls and The Caliber Burger immediately turn left into a footpath amongst trees. The footpath will wind to the left and the first property you'll reach will be Mantra Villa, and just next to it - Santen Beach Bungalows. Although the whole route takes a bit longer, you're mainly on a road with asphalt, and the last bit on the footpath is really short, so all in all much easier for suitcases than the direct route from the harbour along the beach.

It was super cute and cozy. Staff were very friendly. Water front was very pretty. Great price for such a cute bungalow.

A little hard to find at first but the property was excellent. No issues.

This was the BEST place we stayed on our entire trip! The staff was SO wonderful, the bed so comfortable, the beach so beautiful, and we LOVED the kitties .. they were the highlight of our day. We left the staff a little food to feed them, would be so amazing if the owner could continue to supply the staff to take care of them. We will definitely be back!
