"Excellent value and short walk to town"

Very accommodating and excellent hosts. Not many guests, as most people stay at their larger location across the street. I originally booked 3 nights online, but stayed again after I returned from a trek and they changed me the same excellent rate I got online.

There was a good bit of traffic noise from the street, which I heard since I needed the window open at night, as it was three of the hottest days of the year. When I returned the temperature was more normal and I didn't need to open the window and there was no noise.

"Comfortable family home in Leh"

Through Whatsapp, Jigmet gave us plenty of advice about all aspects of our trip in advance of our journey to Ladakh. We stayed in his family home for 3 days to acclimatise and 3 days at the end of our tour before we flew back to Delhi, and indeed, it really felt like home. It is located at walking distance to the town centre, yet it is in a quiet area. We stayed in 2 different bedrooms. Both were very spacious and clean, with an ensuite bathroom and many windows. The building features beautiful traditional wooden architectural sculptures. The bedrooms open to a lovely terrace where one can enjoy the sun on a lounge chair or a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Kunzes Angmo is a lovely motherly lady who cooks beautiful food. Bagerat is a young man who was always attentive to our needs, helpful and pleasant. Thank you all for your welcome. We miss you!

The hosts were very helpful. They were kind to store my bag post my stay for 5 days while I was trekking. The location is close to city center- 10 min walk. The accommodation was clean, and had good wifi. I found it a great place for vacation and workation, and suitable for solo travellers.
