Villa coral Cafe

We stayed in a room set back from the beach the first 2 nights , which was perfectly acceptable but the beach front room was exceptional , lovely views straight onto bay. The whole place was quiet and relaxed with a more laid back atmosphere than other places along the strip of Amed.Comfortable beds and in the beach front accommodation a Lovely outdoor bathroom. We ate at their beachside cafe most meals as food was well cooked delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were super helpful.

Pros: Amazing location, we could walk out of our front door and three steps later be on the beach. Great little coral reef there with tons of sea life, and the underwater temple as well.

Cons: The stairs to the second floor of the bungalow are almost like a ladder. They are VERY steep and my almost 70 year old mother was supposed to sleep on one of the twin beds until we realized that wouldn’t work with her having to climb up and down the ladder (which also had one broken step). The Air Conditioning barely worked (we had to put it on the lowest temp, 16C in order to feel any cooling effect at all, and even then the heat in the bungalow was almost unbearable when trying to go to sleep). There was a ceiling fan which also didn’t push any air down onto you, and then the one fan upstairs which had to be plugged in in the only outlet upstairs which was behind the beds, which meant that the beds had to be pushed to the other side of the loft in order to be able to use the fan. The heat and lack of adequate air conditioning made our stay very uncomfortable.

Amazing location right on the beach, incredible snorkelling very close to the shore. Perfect for my 8 and 5 year old children. They were both able to snorkel in the calm bay and see lots of fish! :)

Perfect location, delightful and obliging staff, very good food, extra good value, glad to return

Location, snorkeling

Very noisy from music at the top, which was on 4 nights of 6 and was unbearable and went on till 11pm.Jemeluk Bay is getting much to busy with up to 20 Jukungs in the bay and no regulations where they can be, makes it very difficult to snorkel.

We stayed here for a couple of days with our kids and still regret not staying longer. Our bungalow was just in front of the beach, which is actually one of the best spots for snorkeling in the area. The staff was always very helpful, kind, and friendly. Many thanks for your support, and we hope to come back soon!
