The place is in a remote location, outside the city, with a big vineyard around and a only a road where some cars pass by. The view is very nice. We were there during the week, so it was quiet. We read in the reviews that if you overlapped with a weekend event you were lost because of all the noise, but I guess we were lucky :) There were two pools, one inside and one outside and we liked they weren't crowded and the one outside was comfortable, with different depths from one side to another, not to deep either way, and there was also a life ring available. The room was spacious and there was also a spacious table and an AC, which could be scheduled to shut down after a certain time (excellent if we fell asleep in the meantime). The bed was very comfortable. There was a balcony at the restaurant where you could have breakfast. All the staff we interacted with, with one small exception, was nice.

La Vie is for me the typical Romanian place full of potential but administrated by the wrong people. The design was no too nice, the events / restaurant area looked very mainstream and somehow communist. The coffee was the cheapest one. We only had breakfast there, it was very basic and not very good, also seemed to include the cheapest ingredients and plates and super basic stuff. There was an older lady from the staff who seemed not very willing to make me a tea, although I was the only client. The place doesn't seem accessible at all for someone who isn't in great shape. There are no elevators or other ways to go up if you have trouble walking. The inside pool was difficult to access, as it had a very steep stair and it was also very cold (colder than outside). The outside pool didn't have a railing for the stairs so there was a risk of accident. It wasn't so clean. Although the room was clean overall, there were some towels with stains (they looked washed, I guess the stains just didn't go off), the inside pool had some smashed tiles, there were various dead insects lying around on the stairs or at the windows. The personnel was, however, super receptive to make changes once I communicated my feedback.
