Helpful and friendly host. Quiet location, nice and clean room. Air Conditioner was very welcomed. Well equipped kitchen with dining room. Nice terrace.

Friendly host. Good sized room. Comfortable bed. Good shower and air con. All reasonably new. Those all ticked the boxes. This is, however, essentially an upmarket hostel. We were sharing the common rooms with two families - 4 adults and 4 children. They were very nice but they essentially took over the entire dining area inside (we had to sit on a table outside looking at the deck railings completely covered with their towels and swimsuits). We accept that our experience could have been very different if, say, four couples were sharing and we had the opportunity to socialise. Then the hostel aspect would be a real plus.

The main drawbacks for us were (a) the WiFi is TERRIBLE - the worst we had in 4 weeks travelling through Hungary. It worked ok in the dining area but as soon as you moved out of that area the signal disappeared, and (b) the sound insulation is very poor. We could hear EVERYTHING in the hallway outside our room and even heard sounds coming from the kitchen downstairs. Those can probably be remedied.

We liked everything about our accommodation, the tastefully furnished, air-conditioned, spacious room, the inviting common places (kitchen, dining, terrace, garden), the central but quiet location in Eger. Ágnes, our host was more than helpful, always available and giving useful tips for our visit. We hope to return!

We liked everything about Premium Vendeghaz! Agi, our host was available as needed. She was genuinly welcoming and assured us that all will be smooth even with our 2:00 AM checking in. This is a very comfortable, cute, clean house.
