I had the so far best stay in Sri Lanka at Green Paradise! The two apartment complex is located about 5min walking distance from the Railway station outside of Ella city center. On the opposite side of the street you're surrounded by tea plantations, and from the shared veranda you look up the mountains and the train passing to / from Badulla in afar. This makes the location perfect for a decent sleep from the otherwise pretty noisy center of town. The room is spacious, clean & tidy, the shower warm, and the bed very very comfortable. Further, it is equipped with a big mirror, moskito net and ventilator. The owner Shan is an incredible nice, honest, and forthcoming person, and he & his sweet family are offering all kind of services for good prices (e.g. laundry, TukTuk, guide, etc.....ask him if he'll drive you to Yala, all possible). If / when I'll come back to Ella, I'll most definetly check in Green Paradise again....

The owner of the accommodation gave us an upgrade, and our family of four ended up staying in a very spacious family room with a beautiful view of the Ella mountains. We really enjoyed meeting his lovely family and are grateful for the warm welcome and hospitality we received.

The host was very nice. Offerd to help with everything. Beautiful view and some monkeys came to visit in the morrning

A little far from the center. The walk is on the main road with no light for 15 min.

Actually this place was very nice and beautiful.staff members were very kind and friendly.They were warmly welcome us and treat with black tea.we can see beautiful view of the Ella train track.Rooms were clean.we were highly recommended this place.
