Riad Hidaya

A good place run by very nice and helpful people! It is very central within the old city of Fes, very close to everything. It is a Dar, which provides a very authentic experience, and has everything you need during your stay in Fes (though it is obviously quite different from a standard hotel).

Tucked out of the way, like most of the Riad’s are, the interior courtyards are always a beautiful surprise. Comfortable and clean and not too far away from some of the main attractions.

There are over 9000 alleyways and streets in Fez, some narrow and dark, so our first impression coming in at night was like being in a maze where you are immediately lost. But that’s part of the charm and by the second day we knew our way around. Our Guide told us that Google maps and Waze did not work in the labyrinth of the city. He was right. Pay attention when directions are given and you’ll be fine.

Ich habe mich in dieser Unterkunft von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist traditionell gehalten, sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders gefallen haben mir die ruhige, sehr zentrale Lage und der schöne Ausblick von der Dachterrasse aus, dort kann man auch wunderbar bei einem Tee abschalten. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war ausgesprochen freundlich, zuvorkommend und unkompliziert, Fragen wurden immer schnell beantwortet und man spürt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und komme bei Gelegenheit sehr gern wieder.

Fijne locatie in de Medina, leuke sfeer, heerlijk ontbijt op t dakterras. Allerlei tours konden door de Riad geregeld worden, het personeel probeerde je echt thuis te laten voelen en was altijd beschikbaar voor vragen.

Even wennen aan de trappetjes in de Riad, maar dat hoort erbij.

Bien placé c'était propre

Le logement ne correspondait pas du tout au descriptif, (chambre beaucoup plus petite), les équipements non plus (pas de peignoir). Petit déjeuner très moyen On avait demandé le prix pour une excursion et nous ne sommes pas passé par eux ils étaient mécontents on l'a bien compris.

La hospitalidad, la decoración, la ubicación

Nada más que lo típico de esas casas, poco privada y escaleras empinadas

L'accueil est très bien personnel à l'écoute des demandes des clients. Mohammed le jeune cuisinier nous a concocté des petits plats locaux très bons

Les 2 chambres qui nous ont été allouées demanderaient un rafraichissement surtout dans les salles de bains.
