We stayed in the room upstairs which had an amazing view of Mount Agung. The location was good, a little further from the main street of Amed but within walking distance of the beach and some nice cafes (you'd be better off renting a scooter though!) Our host and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good variety of options for breakfast and our room was clean and comfortable. The wifi was reliable, if not super fast.

The only reason I'm not rating this place more highly is because there were rats living in the ceiling of our room, they were very loud at night, running around and squeaking, often sounding like they were in the room at times. We saw them in the kitchen and bathroom a few times as well. The kitchen gets extremely hot which makes cooking difficult, and none of our ingredients were safe from the ants, even dry food like rice, oats and biscuits.

Food, we order something to eat because we were so tired and they arrived with pre-cooked noodles (those cheap from the supermarket). We felt so disappointed and sad to get that food. The menu photos are totally fake and lie
