Uncomfortable lumpy bed. AC blowing directly on our heads. Avoid the optional breakfast, overpriced and poor quality. (Several good restaurants nearby).

Great gardens, nice pool, very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and served to the cottage veranda. Pool was very relaxing, shaded and spotless. Property is slightly outside Ubud which is good as Ubud was a bit manic. Local restaurant across the street from the entrance had vary good food at local prices. Locals were dining there which is always a good sign.

Crappy WiFi (when it worked at all) Loud and drunk guests (at least I think they were guests) drinking in the swimming pool a full afternoon and evening, and the personnel did nothing to moderate them. Events like this definitely defeat the purpose of this place.

I absolutely loved this place. First, it has a beautiful garden and a nice pool. It's located in a quiet side street and you don't hear a lot of traffic noise. The staff are super nice and helpful without being intrusive. The banana pancakes for breakfast are amazing. The rooms are clean (ask the staff when you want them cleaned, they don't do it automatically during your stay). However, this guest house's best feature by far is its location right at the edge of the Monkey Forest, so it's a short walk to the entrance (ask the staff for the shortcut through the forest, the official route from Google Maps is MUCH longer). But, you don't even have to go into the Forest to see the monkeys, as they come by for a visit by the pool pretty much every day (they're not allowed to stay for long, though).

Only very minor details. The rooms could use more power outlets and the WiFi signal could be stronger (works well in front of the rooms, but not inside the rooms or near the pool).
