It was a good idea to experience a traditional Hanok stay. The location was great and the manager was nice and helpful.

However, before coming to this hotel we stayed at a temple in a similar traditional Hanok house sleeping on a floor mat, and it was comfortable, high quality mats and bed sheets. We were disappointed that the mats and bedding were the cheapest quality, rough synthetic blankets, small pillows and matts so thin that it felt like sleeping on a bare floor. The lack of sleeping comfort was not worth the money.

The accommodation was great but the location was very sketchy and in a back alley.

Very cosy hotel, and very characterful. Perfect for my two night stay. Comfortable futon bed and a really nice bathroom. Convenient location by the metro and bus stops, and a friendly owner.

Friendly staff give you a simple Korean experience.

For delicate Western travelers, sleeping on the floor takes some getting used to.

The owner was lovely - so warm and welcoming. The guest house is lovely. The bathroom had all that was needed and great water pressure. The air conditioning was terrific. The owner was so nice and let us leave our luggage there for two hours after check out before our train.

There are no small refrigerators in the rooms but the owner gave us cold water bottles upon arrival. More may have been available in a common space. The center grounds/courtyard could be made even nicer.

The location very close to the metro station
