St Albans Guest House, Dover

I felt at home and safe during my stay especially that it has a shared kitchenette with drinking water, and a small fridge. It was clean and pleasant smelling which made the stay comfortable. Also, it was helpful to have the locker after checking out. The property is situated near Dover Priory train station, so it was convenient to pick-up my bag on the way back from the beach.

Parkplatz im öffentlichen Raum findet man. Und für eine Nacht, bis die Fähre morgens fährt, ist es okay.

Cheap and slightly cheerful

Couldn’t use the plug sockets at night because the sockets were making a loud beeping sound that sounded like a mosquito.

Fajny, czysty pokój. Idealny na krótki pobyt. W lodówce zawsze znajduje się woda do picia. To już któryś z kolei pobyt w tym miejscu. Napewno będę wracać.

Relatively simple accommodation, however it was exactly what I needed and expected for the price, so I'm very happy. Communication in advance with instructions for self check-in was perfect, and it was nice to have the small en suite and small kitchen (even though I barely used either, due to a later than planned arrival). The location was also excellent for catching the ferry in the morning, and I found on street parking with ease. The bed was more comfortable than many B&Bs I've stayed in!

There was a slightly musty smell in the room, and a plug socket next to my bed didn't work (so I plugged something in overnight, then discovered at the last minute it hadn't charged) - however, nothing serious, and this is likely to become my main stopping point if I have to make a similar journey.

La salle de bain extrêmement minuscule. La chambre était également trop petite.

Gute Lage, nahe der Innenstadt und zum Fährhafen mit kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeit an der Strasse.

Die Zimmer sind nur über schmale und steile Treppen erreichbar. Sie sind hellhörig und im Bad fließt kein Trinkwasser. Trinkwasser wird separat in einer Karaffe bereitgestellt.
