Good welcoming, the room is comfy and very nice, spacious, did a tour which was great, food at the restaurant was amazing, they also helped me to rent a scooter

Location not for everyone, if you drive a scoot and love quiet place is nice but if not is a bit further of main town

This was other second stay with the family and we were happy to see the room improvements they've made. Staying here feels like being home, the food mama jero cooks is delicious and papa jero's tips for exploring the surrondings are always useful. Great view of the lakes beneath. TIP: If you want to hike the jungle walk and avoid paying for the entry I recommend starting 300m before the main point, on the corner close to the school - See the attached pic. Maps.me has you covered.

The bathroom door didn't close because of rust, you can hear everything from the outside.

Nice for the price. People are really amazing, and Mama's cooking is the best. But the only negative aspect was the musty smell in the bed, bedsheets, and towels. It smelled like old furniture. Maybe because the mattress was old and faded, there was some lingering stuff (bed bugs?)🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. We spent only two nights. But maybe other beds are better, and everything else is very nice. Good value for money.

The people who run this family business are very lovely. It was a cute little room and the ameneties matched the price.

There wasn't ventilation in the bathroom nor a bedside lamp.

Very clean, simple, hot shower, no damp smell, comfortable bed, nice sitting area, great view from the opposite side of the road. Hosts were very friendly, we got a warm welcoming, even shared dinner with the family and played traditional bali instruments, which was a great experience. Their dog Bobo is lovely and cuddly.

Not soundproof, you can hear everything, but that seems to be very common in Bali. Curtains don't work well against the sunlight.

Location if fine..although close to the road had a good rest ..no noise. Guesthouse has great food and people are very kind..recommend to do the walk to the waterfall indicated in the hostel. Room is small but tidy and very comfy bed. Also warm water shower..unlike other comments

The room was spacious and clean with a hot water shower which was very much needed! The place is simple but the food was great, and our hosts, Mama and Papa, were wonderful. They were so lovely, helpful, and accommodating, and they really cared about making sure we had the best stay possible - giving us tips on what to do in the area and even offering to take us on a tour (which we would have done except we had already made other plans). The view of the lakes from the homestay is gorgeous, and there is a point from which you can see the sunsets which are often stunning. Papa coordinates a band which practises at their place twice a week, they play traditional Balinese music and sometimes have traditional dance performances as well. Definitely don’t miss out on this as the performances are beautiful and very authentic - here you can watch for free whereas a performance in any of the big towns would cost a fair amount of money to see! Papa and Mama also have the two cutest dogs ever - Bubu and Bubu :). They are both so friendly and sweet and will walk you to your room or even to the nearby waterfall! Overall the stay was such a great experience, it was amazing to be able to stay with an authentic Balinese host and experience this way of life for a really great price! :)

Great place with lovely people who were really helpful! Plus the food was amazing :)

The room was full of mould and started making us coughing very quickly, we were kindly offered another room but we had already booked another place.
