Umah Dangin Guest House

Close to Ubud, even by foot. Warm water.

I was in doubt if I should write this. However, I already slept in 2 other guest houses for the same rate per night and that one was disappointing. In places like this I mostly care about sleep and ability to wash myself. Both were not possible because everything from bed sheets to towels was either dirty or smelt like old rag. I know that we are on Bali and it’s sometimes hard to dry things in a rather wet climate but the smell was just not acceptable. One of the pictures attached is the foot towel… Also, I would rather not recommend to use the A/C as there is mold everywhere inside. One more thing to suggest for the cleaning person: please do not put pillows on the ground when cleaning the room! I saw it and it was disgusting!

-Amazing breakfast served every morning, every day served a different dish, that you can enjoy from your room. -Very cozy guesthouse with plants and trees surrounding the pool. It looks even better in real life! -Location is great: close from center but away from the noise of it. -Daily room cleanup, which is unfortunately not common in Indonesia. -Great quality/price ratio. -Makes you feel part of an Indonesian house.

-Some rooms had a mold-humid smell, which I reckon would get worse during wet season. -Bathroom, although big, is a bit outdated and worn out. -Requested to be in the upper rooms through Booking, which was accepted by owners, however wasn't honored when we arrived. However, when discussed with them, they did their best to accommodate us as soon as a room was available. -Payment must be done there, and they only accept cash.

Great value for money, the room was spacious and clean, very quiet area, comfy bed and great hosts!

Location is just behind from Ubud market

There is no mobile charger point even they not provide any multi plug point

Lovely host family, breakfast brought to our room, very cute dogs in front of the house, perfect spot to explore Ubud -> scooter rental is just around the corner

Too much chlorine in the pool

We stayed in a cozy, modern room and it was the perfect place for us to relax! Also the garden and the pool are so beautiful. Also the family who owns the guesthouse is very helpful and friendly. If we’re back in Ubud, we would come again to this accomodation.

We enjoy the stay in Umah Dangin Guest House, the family was really nice and Ms Artini she was very good host in our stay there. We want to go back soon 😉. Very peaceful place and quiet.

With only 4 rooms, Umah Dangin is very quiet and friendly. The room is very comfortable and the shower has good pressure and hot water. Each room has a table and chairs on the terrace where breakfast is served. The breakfast is different every day. We really enjoyed our stay.

The road into Ubud is busy and a little bit difficult to negotiate.
