I spent a lot of time on the road. They confirmed the reservation. When I arrived, they told me "we already gave your room to someone else." This is the second time. According to reviews on maps, this happens all the time. Do not count on staying at this place.

Not much we liked. The breakfast was not bad compare with other Indonesian accomodation otherwise was bad

Do not trust for the photos on booking.com that is just a dream. The room was so dirty, mouldy and smelly. It was our 7th room booking in Bali but the worst. I asked broom to clean the floor thought it is better if doing ourself they even didn't ask me why I need broom. See our pictures I forget to take picture about cockroach which found under the cushion on chair on balcony. Needed to kill it quickly. We kept open the wardrobe door to not be smelly our clothes. This room seems was not cleaned in the last 10 years. Dirty walls, mouldy curtains, big lake under the sink, See our pictures what was under the bed. Avoid room number 3.

Toilet had a strong moldy smell. Roosters were a bit loud.

Breakfast was delicious. Big room, very quiet and private, away from Ubud hustle. Fan was great, better than air con. Plenty of drinking water provided.

The staff was good and respectful.

Pictures don't match reality at all.

The host was fine and very accommodating. Upon check in they kindly served us with free coffee which was very delicious. We originally booked for three nights, but after realizing it wasn’t suitable for us, we decided to change our dates. The host kindly accepted our request without charging any fees. The young staff were polite and kind, and the breakfast, while a small portion, was enjoyable. The location is remote, offering a lovely view of the forest.

However, there were several drawbacks. Walking to the city center is somewhat impossible due to the steep and uneven road. Additionally, if you choose to rent a bike, you need to be a professional driver to navigate the terrain. The construction noise from both sides of the property was quite disruptive, especially in our first room. Although we were moved to a different room, the noise was still present but more tolerable. Unfortunately, the fan in the new room didn’t work properly, and the bathroom facilities were broken. The bathroom was very humid and had a bad smell, and the room could have been much cleaner. There was no AC, which made the stay less comfortable.
