Hostal Pakay

Loved this quiet, charming place tucked in a blooming garden, hidden away in a peaceful corner of Tena. A perfect contrast to the noisy, busy center. The owners and crew were fantastic – helpful, respectful, easy-going, and genuinely kind. Great breakfast, good conversations, real traveler’s vibe.

Sadly, I booked for too short a stay.

El hostal queda en un sector apartado de la ciudad, por lo que el ruido de los autos no será un problema. Tienen un precioso bosque que es el hogar de especies de aves nativas, dándole un gran plus a la estadía. Adicionalmente, Las personas que administran el lugar tienen una profunda visión ecológica, lo que se traduce a una estadía con menor impacto en el ambiente. Los desayunos son muy ricos, los baños siempre están limpios (yo me quedé en un dorm con baño compartido) y todos fueron muy amables.

El hecho de que sea un poco alejado del centro de Tena hace que se deban tomar previsiones respecto al tiempo de viaje desde el hostel hacia otros lugares. Sin embargo, esto no es un problema.

No pudimos adaptarnos al baño seco. Pero eso ya es de nosotros.

Beautiful amazonian garden with hummingbirds, Erin and Tony are fantastic. Great tours on the river and in the amazon and beautiful rooms.

Recognizing we were staying in an eco lodge, the room did get a little warm even with the fan, I slept very well since the evenings do cool off.

Sehr durchdacht nachhaltig! Sehr schön und gemütlich! Ein wilder Garten lässt einen Kolibris und andere Wildtiere bewundern! Betten sind sauber und gemütlich und mit dem Moskitonetzen lässt sich auch im Mehrbettzimmer für mehr Privatsphäre sorgen. Man hat sich einfach richtig wohl gefühlt und ich würde immer wieder dort einkehren! Die Eigentümer sind auch super hilfsbereit und freundlich! :)

Die Nutzung des Eingangs ist zu Anfangs nicht ganz eindeutig. Vielleicht die Klingel etwas kenntlicher machen? (Aber das ist wirklich eine Kleinigkeit!)

Os anfitriões são muito atenciosos, o local é lindo, os quartos são bons. Café da manhã ótimo.

Meu chuveiro ficava alternando entre água quente e fria. Mas, nada demais também, deu pra tomar banho bom.
