Ubud Batik Villa

Lovely family run guest house. Surprised to see that the room was like a little apartment with its own kitchen, dining table and big balcony - amazing value for money. Breakfast was served to the room and where our room was on the 1st floor, we ate with gorgeous views over rice fields. The hosts are very friendly and were extremely patient with me when I was trying to sort out transport. Good restaurants and shops nearby.

Staff on site was great also a very beautiful house with good facilities. Loved the view onto the rice field.

Getting in touch with the landlord was sometimes a bit challenging since there was no reply sometimes.

Everything was great—communications with the host, transfer, breakfasts. I needed a laptop working place and good internet, and I had it all there. The view from a balcony is good as well. The kitchen is all OK.

There's a nearby (like 20 meters from the room) road with relatively heavy motorbike traffic from early until late, which was a surprise. However, the noise from that road is comparable to the noise from giant cicadas.

It's unreachable by a car. I have to pull my bike case and luggages about 100m.

I had the privilege of staying at this beautiful house nestled amidst lush rice fields for a whole month, and I must say the experience was nothing short of magical. The view that greeted me every morning was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to such a splendid panorama was a true gift. This tranquil oasis offers the best of both worlds. While it feels like you're miles away from the hustle and bustle, you're actually quite close to everything. A short scooter ride will swiftly take you to an array of restaurants and various activities. It's the ideal place to immerse yourself in the local culture and truly experience life at a slower pace. The house itself is clean, and the internet connection is remarkably reliable. What makes this place even more special is the warmth and kindness of Dewy's family. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. In summary, my stay here was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the stunning location, the peaceful ambiance, and the wonderful hospitality of Dewy's family. I can't recommend it enough, and I hope to return soon for another dose of this enchanting retreat.
