"Good small traditional hotel with meals and bar facilities and nearby parking near the town centre"

9.0

Hotel was located at the back of the High Street up a footpath (Baptist Lane, near Boots). This brings you through a gate to a well kept garden at the front of the hotel. For arrival by car, there is parking on Louisburgh Street at the back with a separate signposted entrance. Room was warm, clean and quiet, with a large en-suite with good shower. A good cooked breakfast was inclusive and, on request, was available early to allow me to catch an early train! Station was 10 minutes away, and bus stops closer. Evening meals were available in the bar until 7.45pm and were good and reasonably priced.

Don't be put off by the appearance of the hotel from Louisburgh Street. This is the back, with the bar and a narrow winding stairs to reception and onto the rooms

We arrived, and once booked in we didn't leave. We sat in the beautiful garden and read. When the bar opened, We had lovely reasonably priced meals and a few drinks. We will visit again.

"A hardworking family team, and perfect for our short stay."

10.0

A lovely and clean family run hotel in a very convenient location and with a really beautiful garden which we could sit in and enjoy the gorgeous weather that we’ve been having! We were also very grateful to the younger staff member who recommended Berriedale and the River Bothy tearoom - wonderful!

Nothing.
