Everything was perfect

The sense of hospitality was real. The breakfast room and café were really pretty. The garden out the back was gorgeous.. there was a self catering kitchen including washing machine. And it was quiet.

Clean comfortable rooms lovely garden

I regularly use B&Bs and this was without doubt the best ever. The staff were, without fail, kind and helpful. The building is, as the title says, part of a convent and has a wonderful spiritual feel to it. The history to the place is extensive and the Convent is full of evidence of that history, including an 18th century ‘hidden chapel’. My room was quite large as most single rooms are tiny. The bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful. The internet was good. There is even a secret garden for guests to enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Convent is situated very near the railway way station and within easy walking distance of the city centre. The continental breakfast was of a high quality and had everything you would expect All in all a wonderful stay

The cafe/breakfast room were gorgeous and so were the gardens. So peaceful. All staff were super lovely and friendly. Such a great opportunity to stay in a historic building

There needed to be some sort of small table or stand in the bathroom as a wash bag would not fit on the shelf under the mirror. A desk lampy would be useful too. There was a bedside lamp but when I needed to work at night a small lamp on the desk would be helpful.

Loved the location. The breakfast was excellent. Great choice for continental. The bedroom was spacious and loved the firm pillows. The history of the hotel was interesting and enjoyed the exhibition. Beautiful chapel in the hotel.
