Amazing jharokhas with amazing city view! Rooms were very nice and I loved the decor. Location was amazing too!

They don't accept card so can be little tricky.

Mud Mirror is an amazing little hotel! The location is incredible - right at the wall of the fort and directly across from the Jain temple. Perfect for easy and early access to top sights! The rooms were very comfortable, the host super helpful and friendly, and all the other staff were great! We especially appreciated Ramesh shuttling our luggage down to the fort entrance. (Cars and tuk-tuks are not allowed in the fort except after 8pm until 8am). The hotel also has a like restaurant on the rooftop. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast up there both mornings.

Bring a sleep mask! Some rooms have views looking out over the town from the fort - which is amazing! Less amazing is the fact that the fort is lit up all night and those bright lights shine into the rooms.

Location of the guest house is inside Jaisalmer Fort, 2 mins walk from the fort’s main square and just in front of the Jain temple. Rooms are clean and city is visible from the window. Owner is very friendly and welcoming, so are the staffs. A rooftop restaurant is there from where you can see the city at one side and Jain temple on the other.

Only issue is if you have your car, it needs to be parked outside the fort where finding parking space is a big task on a busy day. We had scratches on our car while parked overnight. If you have parents or persons who has problem in walking, reaching to the location can be tiresome.

Posizione eccellente dentro il forte con vista sulla città da una finestra e su un tempio dall'altra. Lala disponibilissimo per qualsiasi cosa e organizza anche tour nel deserto anche se noi avevamo già prenotato tutto. Camera pulita e terrazza dove abbiamo fatto sia colazione che cena molto buoni e con bellissima vista. Visto il prezzo non posso lamentarmi di niente neanche delle lunghe attese anche per una semplice bibita ..ma va benissimo tutto se non si ha fretta infatti ho messo un bel 10 per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Grazie Lala....

This hotel offers city views from the guest rooms and rooftop terrace. The sunrises and sunsets are also spectacular. The hotel, located south of the Jaisalmer Fort, was renovated from a centuries-old military facility. It's a great location for exploring the inner quarters of the fort and meeting the residents. The owner, Lala, is friendly and makes guests feel at home. I mentioned a slight smell in the bathroom, and he promised to fix it. Overall, it's a great value hotel.

Bathroom smelt from drains but there were airfreshioners etc and could close the door. An information booklet in the room could be good e.g. wifi password, map of fort, some recommendations, camel safari info, food menu etc

Het personeel is geweldig! Iedereen is super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het uitzicht is spectaculair, de kamers zijn schoon en het eten is goed. Hele fijne plek om te verblijven, een aanrader voor iedereen!

De badkamer is basic maar wel schoon, maar misschien ook te verwachten voor deze prijs.

From the moment we were picked up at the square, the staff guided us to the fort and introduced us around the area. We met the owner, Lala, who personally showed us to our room. The room itself is spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view of the city to the left and an up-close-and-personal view of a temple to the right. The guesthouse also has a lovely rooftop restaurant. We went on a desert jeep tour organized by the hotel, which included a chef who cooked for us in the sand. While the chef prepared our meal, we wandered around the quiet desert. Unfortunately, our stargazing plans were disrupted by a sandstorm, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hospitality at Mud Mirror is exceptional. We had a late bus in the evening after check-out and with the heat that day, he kindly offered us a vacant room to rest and take shower before our departure. The tuktuk driver he arranged also wait to make sure we got on the right bus safely. From the kitchen staff to the team on the ground and the owner himself, the experience reflects true teamwork and genuine care. Highly recommend!
