Guesthouse Corali

Loved the balcony - though I suggest to bring a sarong or something to hang on the clothes line to give you added privacy if you plan to stay more than a couple of nights. - The people that work here are very sweet. - The location was perfect for me

The notes below are more FYI's- The towels were clean I am sure of it, but they always had a damp smell which I am allergic to. Other than that, the bedsheets and the room in general always felt clean (dated, but clean). While it was totally fine, the bathroom felt small for me. If you have heavy luggage - note there is one flight stairs inside the guesthouse - but the staff will help you. What I didn't like was that you can hear everything happening in the hallway but that was minor and manageable.

Great location, very easy access to and from the ferry

A nice hostess welcomed us. The room was small and perfect for what we needed. A kettle, coffee, biscuits, marmalade, and snacks were waiting for you. And in the fridge, 2 bottles of water and a bottle with white wine!! The bathroom was really good. The balcony is perfect.

There was nothing not to like.

Guesthouse Corali is located very close to the harbour of Hydra, but in a lovely small side street away from the hustle and bustle of the port. We were received by the owner and she would be there during the day in the morning and some hours in the afternoon. There was a safe system for entering and leaving the house even if the owner wasn't there (esp. at night time). Our room had a wonderful shady terrace and we did spend a lot of time sitting out there. There was daily cleaning but we asked for just one time cleaning during our 5 day stay. We had a wonderful time and recommend staying there; we hope to return there in 2 years.

Great room, much bigger than we expected with a very comfortable double bed. Lovely powerful shower in the bathroom. A small balcony to sit on and take in the dramatic scenery along with the hustle and bustle in the street below. Perfectly located close to the harbour and a great position to go exploring from.
