Always clean, efficient, you get what you paid for. The food is also great

It’s a bit hard to rest when you have the window on the streets because of dogs barking but it’s part of the charm as well

It is centrally located in the old city and near the Ganges. Wonderful staff. Shower with good water pressure and sufficient hot water. The sunrise tour organised by the guesthouse gave us a good introduction to Varanasi. Great food served at the restaurant.

Very basic. Some wall plugs didn't work so difficult to charge. Wificonnection v poor. They no longer run boat tours

This place is great - super, characterful location close to the ghats. My single room was clean, private and very good value. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and spoke good English. The best feature is the excellent food in the restaurant (wonderful bakery) which can also be enjoyed on the roof terrace; I didn't eat anywhere else during my stay. Profits go to worthy projects including a school - it felt good to be contributing to that in a small way.

The shared bathrooms are quite tiny, and could do with refurbishment - on the 2nd floor it's a shower & loo combined which is not ideal. The pillow & mattress were too firm. Neither of these points would stop me from returning.

Great location, freeing and hippie vibe, value for money, nonchalant crowd and good food.

They closed the gate at 11PM. Difficult to get out after that.

Washrooms did not have jet... very small room and not very well done
