When I first arrived at the reception, I was warmly greeted by two very polite ladies who provided clear information and made me feel truly welcome. The location is excellent — very central and easy to find, and the locals are so kind that you never have to hesitate to ask for directions. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. A big plus is the TV setup — all major streaming platforms like Netflix, Hotstar, and Prime Video are ready to use without any login hassle. The restroom was exceptionally clean, with a unique design featuring a small indoor fan, and the shower area was large and perfectly maintained. I truly enjoyed the food options around the guest house. There’s a rooftop restaurant that mainly serves delicious Western dishes, and another one on the ground floor called Sumo, offering a wide variety of flavorful Asian cuisine, including Tibetan specialties. Just outside the Wongdhen Guest House, you’ll also find a charming gelato shop and a bakery café — both are must-visits! Every place served wonderfully tasty food, making it a great opportunity to indulge in plenty of delicious flavors throughout my stay. Overall, a top-notch experience...!!!

There weren’t any major issues or downsides during my stay. The only small thing to note is that the air conditioner tends to leak slightly when set to a very low temperature, and the staff have placed a bucket underneath to catch the dripping water. This didn’t affect my experience at all. Another point to keep in mind is that if you’d like your room cleaned, you need to leave your room key at the reception — simply hanging the “clean my room” tag on the door won’t be enough. Just something to be aware of for smoother housekeeping service.
