The hostess embodies the quintessentially best of Japanese hospitality. She is gracious, helpful, and engaging. She is definitely a notable “value added” component to an otherwise very fine lodging option. It’s clean, well apportioned, and located close to T28. My room was larger than typical along the Henro.

Such an amazing host. She made udon noodles and sushi for her guests in the evening and breakfast in the morning - all an offering of osettai. And a really friendly and good-humoured woman too. Always laughing and willing to communicate, even with a language barrier. A comfortable room too.

Notre hôte a été adorable et nous a très bien accueilli. Le lit était confortable et la chambre spacieuse. Nous avons eu le droit à plein d'attentions. On recommande. Proche du temple 28. Parfait pour le pélerinage. Arigato gozaimasu🙏. Delfina et Arnaud

On a été accueillis comme des rois. L'hôtesse est un amour de personne. Nos enfants l'on adorée. Pleine de bon conseils, de gentillesse et d'attentions uniques. C'était magnifique d'être chez elle. Tout y est propre, douillet et confortable. Encore merci beaucoup 😘

I could not have been made more comfortable or to feel more at home. My hostess over delivered in every way. Everything was perfect, every thing. I stayed last year on my first pilgrimage. I will stay next year on my third. The experience I had at GH Suisen is one of the reasons I return to Shikoku. It feels like home.

Perhaps a sign that can’t escape my notice- I walked into her neighbor's house. My bad.
