My host was so solicitous and kind. She went shopping and brought me strawberries, then made dinner, which was not part of the deal. Breakfast was superlative. The place was spotless. She had drawn a bath before I arrived. I felt totally pampered after walking nineteen miles of the Shikoku Pilgrimage. She called ahead and booked reservations for me. Truly lovely. While the prior night’s stay was perfect for a single man, this would be ideal for a single woman or a couple. My room had two very comfortable beds. The blinds darkened the room completely. I slept very soundly. Perfect for a pilgrim, or any other person visiting the area. Private. Secure. Comfortable.

We rented a car at Kochi Ryoma Airport. The guesthouse was conveniently located near the airport and the freeway, making it easy to access our destination, Dogo Onsen. Initially, I was concerned about parking, but the guesthouse was on a wide road, which is important to know when renting a car in Japan. It was simple to maneuver in and out of the parking spaces located behind the house. The guesthouse was in the town of Noichi, where we enjoyed delicious meals at nearby restaurants. Additionally, its central location between my two other destinations, Kochi-shi and Aki-shi, meant that I didn't have to drive a lot in one day. Our host, Kyoko-san, was incredibly friendly and kind. Since it was the off-season, she gave the three of us two rooms, which allowed for a comfortable stay. I slept well during our time there. Unfortunately, I lost a hubcap from the rental car—it's a long story. On our departure morning, Kyoko-san went out of her way to prepare breakfast for my son and me. After saying our goodbyes, Kyoko-san called to inform us that my son had left his passport and charger behind. She kindly brought them all the way to the airport for us. Overall, I felt that the guesthouse was truly a home away from home.

Friendly host, feels like staying in your own house. Share bathroom and toilet. Host will run the furo for you. A simple breakfast is provided

Located on a road junction, so can be noisy with traffic noise. May also have some problems getting out of the house with cross road traffic, no traffic lights. A little bit away from city centre so may not be convenient if you are not driving,

The owner is really nice. She prepared a homemade dinner that was delicious !

The host is incredibly kind, thoughtful and generous.

The hostess is a lovely, kind lady who looked after us very well. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The hostess kindly organized transportation of my partner's heavy backpack to the next accommodation so she could walk more easily on that leg of our pilgrimage. It was my second stay and I look forward to returning one day.

The host is very friendly and helpful. Easy to find the address.

As the house is near the road, it can be a bit noisy when cars pass by at night.

Friendly guest house run by a very lovely lady. Comfortable, sunny room with a free breakfast. A great place to stay.
