this riokan is a renovated geisha house from the early 20th century. amazingly well done design with modern amenities. staff is a husband and wife team that serves Argentinian food.

"The perfect place to rest, dine and laugh after Ashikaga Flower Park"

It was the perfect place to stay after watching the wisterias and cherry blossoms at Ashikaga Flower Park. Less than 30 minutes door to door using JR (train). The location is superb - a renovated traditional Japanese house, with tons of character. The food (Argentinian, Spanish) was excellent! I'm from Spain, and loved everything we tried: chorizos, Argentinian empanadas, Huevo roto (french fries, ham and fried egg). Dinner was delicious, wonderfully paired with great wine, and the fun company of our hosts, Gabriel and Yoko. A joyful place to rest and disconnect from the outside world. The music selection was impeccable and added to the ambiance. It was a wonderful experience. Net, net: wonderful Latin/Spanish food, inspiring lodging and fun company.

The owners were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The facility is a former Geisha School which was very interesting; the place is very well maintained and very cozy while also keeping the Japanese traditional spirit. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant has an Argentinian-inspired menu. Everything was wonderful. The owners also offered a free service of electric bicycles which came in handy when exploring the city. The location was good, close to the main street and Kiryu station. If you want to experience a pleasant stay at a Japanese-Argentinian-style place, this is definitely the perfect choice!

We could have very nice breakfast and also dinner at the tapas. Nice public space to enjoy chatting. The owner is very friendly and nice.
