Location was great .lovely to stay inĥb traditional setting without forgetting the house cat off course

Toilet was quite small but did the job..

Everything was amazing, our host was very friendly and helpful and the room was gorgeous. Very spacious and felt like home away from home. Plenty of amenities and close to the train station. Also the cutest cat lives there!

It was the cheapest accommodation I could find in the area. The cat was very cute and the communication with the owner was really nice and helpful. It is also walking distance from Kyoto station so it was easy to get around.

The bathroom and the shared area was not clean at all. There were hair and dust all over and was rather disgusting. I also had concerns with the security as I had to check in myself and the owner said that the keys will be in an envelope in the post box.

Location is excellent, near major transportation stations but quiet, host is welcoming and helpful, place is clean, facilities are pretty much complete for a short/long stay.

Only 1 shared bathroom, but cant be helped. Not soundproofed, luckily I’m not a light sleeper and the other guests were very considerate.

I stayed in a room with (2) twin beds (Western style beds, side by side with a nightstand in between) that also had a large closet storage space, a large window with a big windowsill, and a desk. It was incredibly spacious, which was a nice surprise! The host (and cat) was very friendly, and it was helpful that he could speak a little English AND was also pretty good at speaking Mandarin.

I wish the sink outside the toilet room had a privacy curtain. Oh, and one of the other guests was coughing a lot and I heard it in my room, so keep in mind that you may need to bring earplugs for sound reasons!

The staff / owner is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are also feels very homey and warm. The cat is also very cute. If you want a place that feels like your home in Japan, you should stay here.

it's a bit of walk from Kyoto Station, but not a dealbreaker.

It had all facilities that i need (heater, bathroom, hair dryer, even washing machine and the dryer machine). Hishahi-san (the owner/manager) is very helpful and his cat (maro-chan) is also cute.

The cleanliness of some part of the property (dusts) could be better.

Like home away, very comfortable and I love my room so much
