Rita is an exceptionnal host ! The communication was really easy, and she made sure that we had everything we needed everyday. She made sure we enjoyed our stay in Lagos and helped us through activities also, we are very thankful ! The appartement itself is ideally located, and very comfortable. I highly recommend the place

Apartment was located in a good area, walkable to everything we wanted to do. Access to a terrace for nice sunrises and sunsets. Rita was hospitable, gave us recommendations and even helped us book a day tour.

Our host went out of her way to ensure that we had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and close to all we needed.

There needs to be a couple of lamps in the bedroom to improve the room.

The location was great - very close walking distance to the center of old town Lagos yet the area was quiet in the evenings, away from the louder parts of the old town. The view from the rooftop patio was great. Rita was a kind host who explained the area very thoroughly for us at check in.

Although the description of the place does state that each booking is assigned a separate "accommodation" in the entire apartment with "access to a terrace," it would have been so much clearer if the description stated that the house is a shared space with 6 units. Upon looking at the description under "Hosted by Nico," I see now that it states there are 6 apartments in the house (also, Rita was our host, not Nico), but I think most people take a look at the main description. We went in thinking that each unit was separated and private, but this was not the case. It felt like a dormitory. For some, this may not be a problem, but this was not our style, hoping for more privacy, and we ended up leaving 2 days early. Rita was kind enough to offer a refund on one of the days. The shared space became a bigger issue for us when a group of guests hung out in the shared kitchen space late into the night. Because we were in unit 4, right below the kitchen floor, we could hear the conversation and their noise woke us up at 1:30 in the morning. It would be most helpful to post a sign for quiet hours and reminded at check in to be courteous since walls are very thin and you can hear everything. Finally, the whole space was not "sparkling clean" like many other hosted stays I've been to. It was just ok and felt a bit dated. Kitchen was not very clean/not cleaned daily. Floors were a little dirty. We were given one set of towels that had a musty smell to it (was told it was the laundry service's fault), but Rita quickly remedied by bringing a new clean set the next day. Also, I noticed black mold spots and pink stains (Serratia) on the shower curtain. As another reviewer mentioned, the placement of the shower head with the tub was not ideal. I booked "Deluxe Room" according to the room I wanted from the photos, but I was given a different "Deluxe Room" upon arrival.

Rita was very helpful despite her busy schedule. We unfortunately pre-booked activities before our stay but I highly recommend you ask Rita as she can provide the best advice for activities to do. She was one of the most helpful and sweetest staff we had during our stay in Portugal. If there was any issues she was easy to contact and a pleasure to chat with. Our room came with a washing machine, drying rack and even a beach umbrella which made our stay that much more comfortable.

There isn't a proper cooling system, so it can get quite warm in the house. There is a fan thats provided but no air-conditioning so be wary. The location is also quite narrow, so if you plan to visit without a car be mindful to wear comfortable shoes and know that a short walk can be tiring as its walking up hil..

We loved our stay in Lagos! The apartment is located in a quiet and safe area, yet close to everything—grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach. It was very well equipped, with a fully functional kitchen that made cooking meals a breeze. Rita, our host, was incredibly welcoming and always available, offering great recommendations for local spots. We had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again!

The host Rita was very friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment was very close to the center, about a 5 minute walk. You could use the kitchen (community kitchen).

There is no airconditioning (room 1). They did have a Dyson ventilator but it did not cool enough. The house is pretty noisy. So you hear your neighbors if they walk or go up and down the stairs.
