Thien Phuong Guesthouse

The landlady was lovely. Her laundry service the best we have experienced over our 11months travelling. It was nice having a duvet and the shower was very powerful. The room was cleaned and bedding changed once over our 5 night stay - quite rare for SEA.

The mattress was like a rock. The shower was sometimes hot, but the hot water ran out quickly. The rooms have open squares along the top of the ceiling, meaning sound could be heard between rooms.

The property had an Amazing location, perfect distance from city Center and cat cat village, and had nice big rooms as well. The rooms were very clean and also the staff was friendly. They even let the door open for us when we wanted to go out to eat late in the evening.

All rooms have these kind of holes in them close to the ceiling which made the room feel not very private. We could always hear our neighbouring guests which was annoying but we were also worried that we would disturb them as well. Also the quite expensive laundry wasn’t good at all and all stains were still there. But the friendly hostess gave as more than half of the price back without any issues.

Central location , friendly owner , reasonable price

The second bed has extremely hard mattress , or something similar to, it is not possible to relax during sleeping. Room has ventilation to outside and it was cold during our stay without heating by aircon. The bathroom has ventilation open connected to neighbour bathroom))
