Clean and comfortable

Any use of the provided crockery and cutlery necessitated washing up in bathroom sink. TV was not tuned in and I could not get it to do so despite several efforts. Overpowering scents in bedroom and bathroom from ‘sticks in scent’; moved these to the small vented linking corridor.

It was a lovely clean room and well decorated. In a good location and easy to check in. I found it really helpful that there were a few bits like coffee and fridge etc.

To be aware that the room is part of the hosts property (family home) if you want complete privacy it’s not possible. It was really hot when I stayed (summer) and a fan would have been really great extra, due you being on the ground floor it’s not possible to leave the doors and windows open,

The perfect location - well placed for Canterbury and other seaside resorts , the wonderful exotic garden and the very comfortable bed.

Smart, modern styled room. Basic catering facilities such as fridge, pod coffee maker, plates, cutlery etc were welcome. Wi-Fi and TV with streaming channels are provided, in keeping with modern image. Outside seating in Mediterranean styled garden is very relaxing in sunny weather.

It would be good if some drawers and/or shelves could be provided for non-hanging items. The washbasin plug did not seal properly, which is annoying and wastes water, but this is only a minor niggle and should be easily fixed.

The tropical garden setting in the great June sunshine was very special and relaxing. Walking down for the sunset each evening.
