Lakeview - Tranquille private suite

Half of the apartment was lovely -- the family room area, the main bedroom and the bathroom. I think this was probably part of the original finished basement. The location was great for us, as we really wanted/needed to be in Burke and there are no hotels there.

The kitchen/laundry half of the basement looked like a last minute add-on to create an airbnb. It seems the "kitchen sink" was where the laundry tub used to be (next to washer/dryer and hot water heater). The rest of the kitchen was very minimal. The skillets were very old and dirty; we ended up using a pot to scramble our eggs for breakfast because they were cleaner than the skillets. I thought the outside deck would be a lovely place to sit next to the little lake, but it was SO DIRTY. Cobwebs, dead bug/leaves in cobwebs, goose poop everywhere. The biggest issue was that the twin bed is basically stuck in the entryway next to the sliding glass doors. Very awkward. Our son chose to sleep on the couch because the single bed placement was so odd.

Host very welcoming & Kind. She accommodated me & my dog with guidance on how to get in rear of property with such ease even when arriving during dinner preparation. Large Walk out deck was peaceful facing pond with paths for us to walk. Quiet neighborhood. Target & shops nearby. Yummy coffee selections. Thanks! Would stay again.

Only Not knowing when booked that rental was in bottom of a Residential Home in cul-de-sac. At first, thought I was Lost. Even with this surprise, glad I stayed. Unit lovely & thoughtfully decorated throughout. Felt private with separate lock code entrance.

Wasn’t advertised as basement.
