Pensiunea Alex

The property was conveniently located along the Via Transilvanica. The room was comfortable and spacious. The facilities seemed well furnished. A host was waiting for us when we arrived.

As Via Transilvanica hikers we expected the property to offer a dinner and breakfast, especially since there was no restaurant or grocery store in the village. They informed us after asking for dinner they needed a day’s notice for meals, but there was no mention of this in Booking.com and the property didn’t inform us prior to arriving. After some dialogue they were able to provide us dinner for a price but no breakfast. There was a wood fired sauna and hot tub on the property, but no offer for us to use it, even with a cost. I can’t say for sure, but the two issues above may have been because we were the Pensiunea’s only guests for that night.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig in dem kleinen Dorf Marga, durch das wir auf der Via Transilvanica kamen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, auch das Bad tip top und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Der Check-in war ebenfalls easy. Es gibt einen schönen Garten und im Nachbargarten Hühner, die man beobachten kann.

Leider gab es weder Abendessen noch Frühstück, weil man das vorher bestellen muss. Das war natürlich unsere schuld, aber wir möchten alle daran erinnern, vorher Bescheid zu geben!

In satul Marga, am gasit cei mai calzi oameni intr-o pensiune de exceptie - fara nici o doza de exagerare. Curatenia impecabila se vede de la intrare, o curte spatioasa, cu mult spatiu verde, loc de relaxare, sauna, mese/banci si in aer liber si acoperite. Camera, curatenia exemplara, paturile comode, ambient primitor. Totul la cele mai inalte standarde de confort. Cu siguranta vom reveni sa ne bucuram de zile de deconectare, impreuna cu copiii.

Friendly staff, clean room, nice single beds, quiet neighborhood, large place with outdoor and indoor gathering places, hot tub available, free parking.

Check in instructions were delayed. I had to find a local with a phone to call. Office Email not working.

Am ajuns la locatie dupa lasarea intunericului si am plecat dimineata devreme. Din cat am putut observa locul e frumos aranjat cu suficiente lucruri de facut pe afara. Camera spatioasa si confortabila. Comunicarea s-a facut usor prin telefon, si a fost cineva care m-a asteptat la locatie pentru a-mi oferi acces.

Singurul aspect mai putin placut dar care nu tine neaparat de pensiune a fost petrecerea din vecini de unde se auzea galagie. Totusi in camera, dupa ce am inchis geamul nu se mai auzea.
