Casa Geppetto

Host was very helpfull through WhatsApp. We had no problem checking-in and out. Very clean, confortable beds, good isolating windows and modern furniture. Parking available inside the property. The location is great, 15-20 minutes on foot to the historic center.

Good location in a quiet neighbourhood not far from the old town. Room of decent size. Easy self check-in via instructions received from the host on whatsapp. Well equipped kitchenette in the common area.

The guesthouse was well located for our needs. We were lucky to be the only occupants for the first night because it would have been unbearably loud if several of the other 4 available rooms had been occupied. The kitchen was well equipped, the WiFi worked, and the check-in and -out were done through remote communication. A big thank you to the cleaning lady, who insisted on washing our dishes the morning we checked out.

Casa Gepetto is a old house turned into a boarding house, therefore not designed with noise cancellation features in mind, such as proper insulating heavy doors that modern hotels have. Rooms 1 and 2 are very close to the entrance of the property, and the front door beeps twice when it is either locked or unlocked (4 beeps every time someone goes in or out). All 5 rooms have windows facing a side street, which is not too circulated outside of commuting hours as it goes through a residential area. However, due to the fact that the side walk in front of the windows is about half a meter wide, the cars really do pass right in front of the windows. Therefore, I absolutely do NOT recommend this place to anyone who is sensitive to noise.
