Great location. Nice building but could be a lot more stylish & comfortable inside. Great bar room but nothing else. Good & comprehensive breakfast. Large bed. Excellent staff; friendly and helpful.

Quite a lot unfortunately. Having stayed in the Invernairne on two previous occasions with petrolhead pals, I had a memory of decently appointed bedrooms. And indeed there are a few facing the road. Saw them both mornings when other guests had departed. Our room on this occasion was Black Isle. Facing the sea. Great views: but the room was spartan and without any charm whatsoever. A cheap MFI type wardrobe. Linoleum floorcovering in the bathroom. Cheap everything really. No bottles of water on the bedside table. Overall quite poor value for money.
