This was the perfect place to start off our Croatian vacation. This location had free parking, a fantastic restaurant on site serving great coffee and cevapi. The hosts and staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful, and took time to chat and provide us with information as needed. They treated us like family! The room was spacious and very clean with a small kitchenette to keep the leftovers cold. The location was great, set far enough from the busy road so you didn't hear anything, a short drive to the town of Slunj, and just across the street from the beautiful Rastoke. The local historical village of Cetingrad was nearby and this was the perfect launching pad for our adventures on the Mreznica River, visiting family in Karlovac, and visits with family.

It was perfect. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this booking. I can not wait to return.

Really great authentic Croatian guest house on the main S1 road to Zagreb in the national park. Owner very welcoming. Good simple food prepared with indoor and outdoor dining. Excellent value for money + easy parking in front. On the one hand rustic and simple, but on the other aircon and strong wifi.

You can pay by credit card for the room via Booking, but you can only pay cash for the food. That is quite OK. It is what it is. However, if I could have paid by card, I could and would have bought more food and drink than I did. Maybe something to think about for next time?

Comfortable a bit out of the closest town (2km), A bit noisy due to traffic making it uncomfortable to open the door or window, this was offset by having an air conditioner.
