Rumah Marianne

The place is simple yet perfect for a couple of nights before and/or after visiting Raja Ampat. They have a pretty yard with the cutest dog and cat. It is quiet and super relaxed but also still very easy to go around the corner to the main street and to get a grab ride to anywhere in the city. The best part are the owners: two local women who will pick you up and take you to/from the airport or harbour and they know everything about Sorong and are so cheerful and kind, it was a real pleasure to take a ride with them. Tehy are also always available on whatsapp if you have any questions. I will stay here again when I come back for more diving in Raja Ampat.

The rooms were clean and the hotel had great facilities. There is a fridge if you need one and they even had cold beer in the fridge, which was welcome after a 4 weeks on the islands. The owner was super friendly and speaks excellent English and is well travelled, we had a good conversation with her.

Eine Oase in Sorong! Vielen Dank an die super freundlichen und zuverlässigen Eigentümerinnen und ihre angenehmen Mitarbeiter. Wir wurden zu einem vernünftigen Preis von der Fähre abgeholt und am nächsten Morgen pünktlich zum nahen Flughafen gebracht. Zum Dinner gab's einfaches, aber sehr leckeres Essen und am Morgen ein kleines Frühstück. Unser sehr gepflegtes Zimmer mit Bad war perfekt sauber, angenehm kühl und absolut ruhig. Es hat Spass gemacht sich in dem liebevoll gestalten Innenhof aufzuhalten.

Nichts hat uns nicht gefallen.

Very friendly host. They waited until 23:00 for us bc our ferry was late. But a self check in would be possible too. Nice basic room. Good breakfast and a kitchen with snacks to buy.

The staff was extremely nice and spoke good english. You get a list of recommendations for Sorong when you arrive. We also got a car ride super early in the morning by the hosts. There was a kitchen where you can buy some drinks and noodles. Recommended!

The breakfast could have been slightly more varied, but it was enough to get to the airport :)
