Ega Homestay

Spacious and clean room with good facilities, and the bed and sheets were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, had more than usual coffee/drink options, good timings and was absolutely punctual. The host is helpful and caring, without being intrusive. Location is close enough to the harbour, easy to find, on the main road to everything, and has good eateries closeby

You should not expect not hearing traffic

Everything was perfect at Ega. Great breakfast. Big and clean room. They even cleaned the room during our stay. Bed was super nice. They rented scooters and they also arranged tickets to the boat. So happy with this place and would 100% recommend to everybody.

Not hot water in the shower, but the water was not that cold either. It is hard to find a place with hot water for this price.

The family were very welcoming and extremely helpful. They booked a snorkelling tour and tickets to Gili T for us. We also did a tour of the West coast of the island in a private car with the owner. The room was very clean and huge. It was the most comfortable bed we’ve had on our travels. The breakfast was very tasty. Overall it exceeded its value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The island is very spread out so you would need a scooter to get around but this is more a reflection on the island rather than the homestay. Scooters can be rented from the homestay at a very cheap price.
